Why a Seasonal Routine Matters
A great lawn is less about one big effort and more about small, well-timed steps. When you match your care to the season, grass grows thicker, weeds get crowded out, and problems get caught early, before they take over.
The goal is a simple rhythm you can actually keep. A few focused tasks each month beat an exhausting weekend of catch-up every spring.
Spring and Summer
Start the season by clearing debris, aerating compacted soil, and feeding the lawn as it wakes up. Through summer, mow high, water deeply but less often, and stay ahead of weeds while they are small.
Fall and Winter
Autumn is the best time to overseed, feed the roots, and clear fallen leaves. As growth slows, lower your mowing frequency and give the lawn a final tidy before the cold sets in.
